It’s not a breakup, it’s just a break – from the gym. Don’t fret, for your home workouts really can be just as satisfying, and nobody will judge you if you decide to work out in your Fruit of the Looms. (Ok, maybe that not entirely true.) Anyway, let this be a time to push yourself out of your comfort zone and embrace that home sweat life. No matter what your budget is you can find many comparable options for all the products below and, above all, find the product that works best for you. Below are 10 such tools to keep things interesting.

Suspension Trainers
We all know the name TRX, and rightfully so. They have been around a long time and make a product that lends itself to people of all abilities. The TRX Tactical Gym is a rugged piece of bodyweight suspension training equipment that will last for years to come. Got a door? You can get started with this right away.
Massage Gun
Recovery is the name of the game. If you want to get the best results possible from workouts, maximize your recovery. Massage guns come in varying price points from $80 to $400 dollars. Personally, I like the Hypervolt Featuring Quiet Glide Technology because I was able to familiarize myself with it before I purchased it. My advice, if you decide to try a different gun, find one with a warranty and report any issues ASAP. Happy recovery!
Foam Rollers
Did I mention recovery already? Good, it’s that important! Foam rollers come in all kinds of shapes, colors and price points. If you are new to foam rolling my suggestion is to start with the AmazonBasics High-Density Round Foam Roller.
Thera Cane Massager
Again, recovery. Trigger points (or TRPs) can be a real pain. TRPs can create many issues in the body and need to be addressed. If you can’t make it in to see your local massage therapist (hey, that’s me!) then it’s time to take it into your own hands. Thera Cane Massager makes it easy to locate those hyper-irritable spots in hard to reach areas.
Yoga Mat
A good yoga mat is hard to beat. My most-used piece of equipment by far is my mat. Get one with a little extra weight and thickness (slip-free, of course) and you can really begin to explore movements and flexibility. Tune in, get the aches and pains out. For a high-quality mat that will serve you for years to come, check out the Manduka PRO Yoga Mat.
Kettlebell
Kettlebells are easily one of the most versatile pieces of equipment in any gym, be it home or fitness center. But, when it comes to kettlebells, they’re not a one-size-fits-all piece of equipment. That’s where the Adjustable Heavy Duty Kettlebell comes in. Quickly adjust weights and move from one exercise to the next quickly.
Booty Bands
One thing trainers far and wide know all too well is that most people out there got some weak buns. I’m sorry, it’s not personal. However, if you want to kick up your glute game, a booty band is a serious piece of equipment that takes up almost no space but delivers the burn your buns desire. Personally, I really like the Sling Shot Booty Band from Mark Bell. Trying a different one? Share your choice with us – don’t hog the burn!
Parallettes
If you are like me, you enjoy a good mix of heavy lifting and calisthenics. A solid pair of parallettes will allow you to bring your body control to the next level with advanced push-ups, L-sits and extreme core work. I use Simple Fitness Steel Bar Parallettes, but there are a lot of options to choose from.
Bosu Ball
Even if you haven’t used one, I’d be willing to bet you have seen Bosu balls, those half-sphere balls with a solid plate used for balance training. If you want to challenge yourself in new ways or just want to add some creativity to your workouts, give the Bosu Pro Balance Trainer a try.
Stability Ball
Much like the TRX, the number of exercises that can be done with a stability ball seem almost endless. Whether you need to dial back the intensity or bulldoze ahead, a good stability ball will aid in getting you there.
